A company’s most valued asset is usually its employees. And finding qualified staff for almost any role can be a daunting task. Employers regularly spend hours or days of valuable time reviewing stacks of resumes, scheduling and rescheduling interview times and eventually meeting dozens of candidates that “just don’t fit”.
Using a traditional search firm or employment agency will lessen the burden slightly since the recruiter will hopefully short-list a group of candidates to consider. But many recruiting firms do not even meet the candidates they are presenting and they will leave it up to the employer to meet these candidates. In other words, these recruiting agencies are merely acting as a resume service, and hiring managers will likely spend many frustrating hours interviewing candidates who are disappointing and just not the right “fit” for the job.

Our visual advantage system allows employers to view a video clip of a short-list of candidates online, quickly and on their own schedule, in the convenience of their home or office, or anywhere in the world with computer/internet access.
Our Process
When we represent a candidate, they come into our office for a full interview with one of our well-trained recruiters. We then compile a candidate profile comprised of their technical and software skills, educational background, work history, salary and location requirements, career goals, motivating factors, why they are looking for a change, and other related areas.
We then videotape a portion of this interview; usually 1 to 2 minutes in length. A few video-clip samples are located on this page for your review.
When we are engaged on a search by an employer, we narrow down a short-list of candidates to be considered. We then email a secure web-link where the employer can review the selected candidates’ video-clip, along with their resume. This will give the hiring manager the visual advantage to assess the candidates’ fit for the role, as well as their fit within the organization.
This comprehensive presentation will greatly shorten the hiring process by reducing the uncertainty that is involved when meeting candidates just based on their two-dimensional resume. Employers can also compare and contrast the candidates more effectively and may then choose to meet only the candidates that best fit their organization and the requirements of the role.
This process is not meant to replace traditional interviews, but it will make the interview process infinitely more effective and quicker, with no surprises.
